Bought this on a whim and ended up highlighting half the book. Highly recommend. Read on Kindle.

Description
Master the craft of wit with Charles Molloy Westmacott's The Punster's Pocket-book, an essential collection that elevates wordplay into a high art form. Rather than simple jokes, Westmacott explores the mechanics of the pun — the intentional ambiguity, the double meaning, and the intellectual playfulness that has made punning a beloved literary tradition for centuries. This edition is enriched by Robert Cruikshank's original designs, which capture the whimsy and visual wit of the text.\n\nWhether you are a student of literature, a lover of comedy, or a writer looking to sharpen your own wit, this book offers timeless craft. The pun is not a low-brow device; it is a sophisticated linguistic exercise. Westmacott's collection is both a playful romp and a serious study of language. The EPUB format makes it accessible on any device, so you can carry these clever turns of phrase with you wherever you go.

I re-read chapter 3 twice. That alone made the $2.99 worth it. Took notes while reading.
Five stars. The writing is sharp and the PDF version is crisp on Kindle.
Surprisingly good. Better than a lot of Art & Design titles I've tried free elsewhere. Finished over the weekend.
